Launched in 2013, this car uses the same aluminium underpinnings and air suspension as the flagship Range Rover, and is thus incredibly comfortable.
Not only that, but it really does live up to the Sport part of its name, with superb handling and a real turn of speed whether you opt for the entry-level V6 diesel or the high performance V8 petrol SVR, which can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 4.7 seconds.

It’s also supremely practical, with ample room in the back to put your head back and have a rest (as Chris so ably demonstrates…) and even the option of having an extra two seats that lift out of the boot floor on electric motors.
Being a Range Rover it is also trimmed in luxurious leather, and packed with technology including fully electric seat adjustment and a TFT screen to display the dials. Plus of course it is a formidable off-roader.
